We are a married couple of freelance professionals living in Japan since 1997 and offering Italian and Japanese translation and interpreting services.

Aliseo Japan is the business denomination of a team of two freelance professional translators and interpreters - a Japanese and an Italian mother tongue - specialized in Italian, Japanese and English with a special vocation to assist small and medium size companies. Our language-related professional career began in Milan in 1996. In 1997 we moved to Japan, where we have been enjoying a constantly growing market.

After gradually moving away from the big city - Tokyo was our very first home and we lived one year in the Shibuya ward - initially in Yokohama and then a bit more south in the beautiful Izu-Kogen, Shizuoka Prefecture, with a short step backward we have now settled down in Atami, a renowned seaside holiday place. But by simply crossing the narrow Chitose river, a few steps away from home we enter the Yugawara municipality in the Kanagawa Prefecture, which is what we consider for practical reasons our real place of residence. From here it's easier to get to Yokohama or Tokyo by train (less than one hour with the Shinkansen) and this makes our going there for our interpreting service more comfortable.

We are a team, an intercultural, flexible and dependable synergetic force that thanks to the experience gained during many years in large and small companies and then as independent professionals offers the quality you need yet at a reasonable price. We believe in our activity as an important piece of the international communication process, both for direct clients and translation companies alike.

Our Clients

Our clients are therefore general companies, translation companies and publishing houses, but also private individuals. In particular we aim at being an effective, competitive extra-corporate tool for small and medium size companies that already have in place a business relationship in Japan. To this purpose we offer special conditions to those companies that need to stay in daily, real-time (Skype or telephonic) contact with their overseas partners.
