Our translation experience is also the result of many years serving in industrial corporations.
In over 13 years of professional translation work (more than 30 years considering the past translation activity and management before becoming freelance translators) we have accumulated much experience in many fields. Because listing all the main translation jobs we did so far is almost impossible as well as futile, we only provide the main subject matters we have been dealing with.
We regret we cannot provide the list of our client references.

Our Italian-Japanese-Italian translation experience begun in 1990 in Italy as a result of two very different professional and educational paths; on the one hand (for Taeko Kani) the education acquired as an employee of a worldwide leading Japanese company specialized in cosmetics, and on the other hand (for Mario Cerutti), the technical, administrative and managerial experience acquired while working for several high-tech companies. It can therefore be said that this combined capability is the result of different specialized and linguistic skills which have been cemented together both through the language theoretical study and practical usage.
Our main strength in this language pair is the active collaboration: as native speakers respectively in Japanese and Italian, when it's needed we work side by side in order to guarantee the perfect understanding of the source text and the correct translation into the target language.
My English-Italian translation ability is the outcome of more than 30 years of work on technical texts in Defence (Italian Navy) high-tech fields (missiles, guns, electronic equipment, radars, etc.). This is where my true technical education begun, an exceptional basis which is still very useful to understand the most difficult technical subjects.
Since then, new experiences in international sales and marketing as well the position as General Manager in the Italian branch of an important US industrial group have contributed significantly to my current English language capability in new fields such as the legal and commercial domains. The ability to write and understand international contracts along with their legal implications as well as discussing them with Italian and international clients is still a precious asset in our translation process of all sorts of corporate documents. Furthermore, the overall knowledge I have acquired so far in the English-Italian language pair greatly contributes also to our Italian-Japanese-Italian translation process, since the ability to do cross language checks helps understanding many Japanese terms that are nowhere to be found in the currently available Italian-Japanese dictionaries.
The above list only shows the translation fields we work more frequently.
