Two native speakers (one Italian and one Japanese) working together to produce higher quality translations

We provide Italian-Japanese-Italian and English to Italian translations in a wide range of technical and non-technical fields. Please trust our experience. Please trust our language skills and give us a trial.

We are a team made up of an Italian native speaker and a Japanese native speaker with many years of experience either as former company executives and then as professional translators in a wide range of fields. We offer you the quality you are looking for but at a more affordable price.

Please note that we are freelance translators, not a translation agency. This is why we can offer you more competitive rates.

We translate only in the Italian-Japanese-Italian and English-Italian language pairs. One of our strengths? We are two native speakers - an Italian and a Japanese respectively (this is our combined resume) - who know very well the partner's language and when it's needed work side by side to perfectly understand the source language and correctly/faithfully translate into the target language. Therefore, as our translations do not require a further native speaker check they are generally ready for use.

As founders of Aliseo Japan and at the same time independent translators, we work in full autonomy and with equal enthusiasm for either direct clients and Translation Agencies, as a matter of fact our best Clients. Besides, thanks to the very good knowledge of the English language learnt also while working for several high-tech and worldwide leading companies we can provide technical, legal and business translations in a wide range of fields.

Italian to Japanese, Japanese to Italian and English to Italian translations especially tailored for small and medium-size companies.

Please see our translation experience and the fields we can handle with confidence. Please also see our FAQ page.

Please also see why we will deserve your trust (example of Japanese to Italian translation flow).

We also do web site translation.

As you can also see in the page of our hardware and software set up, we are equipped with the latest software tools to extend the translation work to pre-Desk Top Publishing.

How you can help us delivering better translations:
When requesting a translation offer please send the source text together.
This is the only way for us to provide you with an exact quotation.
If possible, please send us the source text in an editable format.
Besides allowing us to make a precise word count of the source text, we will also be able to utilize our translation aid tools to guarantee the necessary term consistency and leave the original lay-out intact. (This is particularly useful with technical translations.)
Please leave us all the time we need.
A hurriedly made translation is never a satisfactory one. Apart from the translation process itself, having more time at our disposal to read it several times before delivering it is a key factor to provide the higher quality you are looking for.
Please give us as much context as possible.
Particularly with technical translations, and even if we are familiar with the subject matter, any sort of drawing, picture or any other available reference can help us better understand hot to translate certain terms.
Please be patient if we ask you clarifications.
This is also in your interest. While you might consider certain questions obvious, your answers could provide us with a particular piece of information to complete the picture.
Translating only lists of words...
...without the necessary context is often very difficult, and can also lead to very ambiguous results.
Please always have us engaged in the post-translation check (proofreading, editing or crosscheck), if you are going to get one.
After entrusting a translation job to us, it is right and wise to have us participate in the post-translation process should you decide to have it checked by a third party. In fact, please remember that also the editor/proofreader can make mistakes. Also, please do not entrust this activity to non-native language speakers.
